Through the Eyes of An Ordinary, Blue Collar, Family Man
With a Dream of Becoming a Well-Known Artist.
Fred Anthony Turpening grew up in a small farming community in Blissfield, Michigan. While working the farm Fred grew to appreciate the satisfaction that comes from dedication to hard work & it‘s many rewards. He enjoyed the benefits of being raised on a farm, through the traditions of hunting, fishing and enjoying the everyday things in life. Fred has the rare ability to forever capture these precious
moments in time through his artwork.
As a young man Fred studied as an Advanced Art student while attending High School.
However, after graduation in 1981, Fred enlisted in the military becoming a
Member of The U.S. Army National Guard. Also while in the Military, Fred met his wife Mary, who is from Alabama; they have been married 27 years & have a daughter, Heather.
Upon Relocating to Alabama with his family, in 1987 Fred fell in love with The Beautiful State of Alabama & it’s warm southern hospitality, as well as the climate, all of which provide an endless palette of colorful beauty, from the many lakes, rivers & wildlife, down to the beautiful coastlines & The many beautiful golf courses located in the state. Fred occasionally painted throughout the years, however due to the demanding responsibilities of raising a family & building a career, the time had not yet come, however, within the last 5 years,
Fred now has the opportunity to pursue his calling as an Artist of Wildlife Artist & Artist Of Everyday Things.
At the age of 42, after retiring from the Army National Guard & Daughter also graduated from High School
& Went to college. Therefore, Fred was encouraged by his family, friends & co-workers to pursue his calling.
Fred now devotes his time to building his art career, with a desire to become a full-time Artist.
As an Artist of Wildlife & Everyday Things, Fred’s inspiration is revealed through his love of wildlife, the great outdoors, Homesteads, Farmlands, Countryside & Mountains along his travels. Fred dreams of opening an Art Gallery in the Great Smokey Mountains in the future.
During his travels, Fred always has his camera ready for that next perfect shot, Through the lens of the camera Fred is able to capture the inspiration for his next work of art, Fred has the excellent ability to forever capture these moments in time on canvas. Fred is truly an astonishingly talented Artist with a distinctive eye for attention to detail. He is fully absorbed in each work of art. Fred’s appreciation for The Beauty of Wildlife & Everyday Things is clearly demonstrated through his artwork and created In Honor of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and His Creation of Wildlife & Everyday Things.
