At least 2yrs exp. in equipment maintence in a manufactoring/production setting. Respond to down equipment calls by troubleshooting problems and performing necessary repairs. Responsible for several production equipment within a specific area . Work on project related to equipment improvements, machine upgrades. This may involve modifying, rebuilding, or overhauling equipment to meet upgraded standards, and company needs. Train other Equipment Maintenance personnel on equipment , operations, and repair techniques and procedures. Write equipment maintenance specifications. Proactively monitor equipment performance and work towards resolving problems permanently through upgrades, preventive and/or corrective maintenance. Interface with supervisors, Engineers, Vendors and Contractors on technical issues relating to equipment maintenance. Please submit resume

Alabama Double Play

It was a still cold morning in south Alabama and turkey season had been underway for about two weeks. The location is a 10,000 acre hunting lease just outside the town of Elba in Coffee County. The lease is composed of swampy hardwood stands adjacent to the Pea River scattered here and there amongst sandy soil pines, palmetto, and saw grass. Even in early spring, the temperature at midday is near 100 so we always hope to complete our hunts by noon.
